Setting up of an aquarium needs to be planned carefully. One should research the design options as they are in large numbers to choose from, what equipment and supplies are needed for each, and once everything is planned out, put it all together and set it up.
The first step in planning a saltwater aquarium is to decide what kind of system one wants to keep. There are basically three types of set ups of saltwater aquarium namely

The first step in planning a saltwater aquarium is to decide what kind of system one wants to keep.
Fish only aquarium are the least expensive form still they require proper maintenance like any other type of set ups. These include fishes like Gallops, Clown fish, Angel fish. It contains artificial rocks rather than coral or lives rock.
Second type of saltwater aquarium is Fish Only with Live Rock. This type of aquarium set up needs live rock and corals they does not include artificial rock in their set ups. They will have some live invertebrates and crustaceans and even sessile invertebrates (which can grow on live rock) in the tank. One should remember the basic element to maintain sufficient biological and mechanical filtration, good water system and lighting. One should also keep in my mind that when the live rock is used only for biological filtration and visual appearances, then the standard FO system lighting is fine but if one wants a true live rock environment then more intense lighting is needed.
The third type is The Reef Tank. It contains various species of saltwater fish and marine life; it also includes live rocks and corals, sessile invertebrates and crustaceans too. It needs higher lighting and water quality and those types of occupants which do not affect corals.
